希腊文和拉丁文里边都没有j,拉丁文里边有时会把词首的i(大写)写作j,不过还是读i.

John 翻译成约翰,虽然读音对不上,但和古音是能对上的,不能说不好.我见已经有人翻译作”乔恩”了,也不能说不好.说起来Michael Jordan其实还可以翻译成”约旦”的.
习惯成自然,但这样的”自然”无形中让语言的混乱度和复杂度增加,还要花几十,几百,几千年unlearn,我觉得不好.
