有时候,我经常看到THAT前只跟一个先行词,比如说the fact that.
the boys that.
但有时候,我又看见THAT前可以跟一个句子,比如说the building is extablished in New York that.Mary has a euphonic voice that.
什么情况下THAT前面是跟单独的先行词,什么时候是可以跟一个句子?

如果我在the boys后面加个are playing football然后再加that的话,那个两个句子就一样的

上面个些that还是可以省略的

我认为这个句子说明一点问题：one factor making easier is the fact that a college that are not necessarily specific to the major.(之所以很容易做到这一点，其中一个原因是大学的学位是建立在综合而全面的课程基础之上，而不仅仅专门限于专业课。）我觉得这个that 前面跟单独的先行词，通常在前面跟一个原因或其他类型。that 前面不会无原无故有一个词的。比如这样一个句子：All I need is someone who makes me wanna sing .这个句子是个who 为人称代词作先行词，但也说明了一种情况。这种情况的that 通常不能省略的。而你说到的the boys that 的情况和that 后面跟一个句子其that 通常可以省略，比如the days we had ,the songs we sang together .the boy you saw today is(that)my yonger brother 。别外你也要留意这一点，the fact is that i don\'t like this .这里的the fact is that 是个不错的结构。愿你学习进步。
